Back in the 80s from a tiny factory in Lanark with only four helpers, fast forward to now, Border Biscuits produce over 300,000 packets of biscuits a week. By manufacturing so many biscuits, the company understands their impact on the environment and are committed to making a change. In 2019 they outlined their commitment to eliminate 90% of plastic from their retail packaging. In doing so, they managed to save 537 tons of CO2 from the manufacturing process each year!
