Stockan’s is best known for their triangle oatcakes, a shape that dates back centuries to when oats and water would be mixed before the dough was rolled out thinly like a pancake on a griddle, and then cooked over an open fire and, finally, quartered.
Today, Stockan’s goes beyond their famous triangle oatcakes, making a variety of other oatcakes that vary in shape, size and flavours. Plus, also have vegan accredited oatcakes, including Stockan’s Orkney Thin Oatcakes and Stockan’s Orkney Thick Oatcakes that are made with the ancient grain Bere Barley.
