Dalston's Drinks

Dalston's Drinks

Duncan O’Brien set up Dalston’s back in 2012 at an East London nightclub, where he began making drinks by mashing, blending and infusing ingredients sourced from the local markets. By only using fresh ingredients from around London, Duncan managed to make incredibly delicious drinks.

Without knowing, Duncan started to satisfy a huge demand he did not know Londoners had, a thirst for great soft drinks. Thanks to this, the brand outgrew its first brewer and had to move to a bigger one in 2016. In the same year, Duncan had to call in a little help from co-founder Dan and also from industry investor Giles so they could advance as a business and take the drinks business head-on.

From then, the business started to accelerate. The brand went through a refresh in design and also had the addition of some new flavours. But through it all the brand has stayed true to its roots, the soda-making process continues to be the same, the integrity of the liquids they use, and all of the recipes are developed by Duncan.

All the products are made with real squeezed fruit and no added sugar, leaning into the founding values of the brand of real fruit. They also have a mission to make people and the planet equal to profit, being committed to reducing the use of plastic and working towards carbon-neutral status by 2022.

Onto the drinks, Dalston’s Elderflower Sparkling Water with real pressed elderflower is a true treat for the tastebuds and thirst-quenching. This drink has a clean, not very sweet elderflower taste made from British elderflower from near the Welsh border. It is also vegan friendly!

For something alcoholic for your shop, Dalston’s Grapefruit Hard Seltzer. This gluten-free drink is a flavoured alcoholic sparkling water that contains tripled distilled vodka, blended with real squeezed tart grapefruit for a blended fruity hit of flavour.
